Sophia Hutchins, longtime manager and close friend of Caitlyn Jenner, has reportedly died in a horror ATV accident. She was 29.
Multiple US outlets report that Hutchins was riding an ATV – known in Australia as a quad bike – on Wednesday morning when she struck the bumper of a moving car.
According to TMZ, the impact forced the ATV and Hutchins 350ft (approximately 106 metres) down a ravine. She was reportedly pronounced dead on the scene.

It is unclear whether Jenner was present when the incident occurred.
Hutchins, who was a transgender woman, was introduced to Jenner by their hairstylist in 2015. She moved in with the reality star in 2017.
Hutchins appeared in multiple episodes of the reality series I Am Cait as Jenner’s manager, and the two have remained close friends and colleagues ever since.
When the pair began living together, the internet began to speculate that they may be romantically involved, however Hutchins denied the rumours in a 2020 interview on Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast.
“It was never romantic. Never sexual. It was very much friends but I understand why people perceived it that way,” she said.
“We never addressed it and that was part of the problem.”

She explained that the relationship she had with Jenner was more “parental”, sharing that the former Olympian liked to “sign off” on her potential partners.
”It’s very parental, very protective. We’re family. It’s an interesting family situation,” she said.
“All of my family is in Seattle. I didn’t have family here. I was thinking I would move to New York and Caitlyn was like work here, live here.”
Hutchins was born on April 1, 1996 in Washington, graduating from Pepperdine University in 2019 with a degree in economics and finance.
She later founded her health technology company LUMASOL.

In a 2019 interview with The New York Times, Jenner described Hutchins as her “best friend, family and confidant”.
“She is one of the top minds in her field,” Jenner added.
“Her value in my life is undeniable. The sky is the limit with her entrepreneurial spirit.”
