My 3 year old babygirl was fully engaged the entire 3 hour film and immediately said ‘I wanna watch this again at home’ as the credits rolled…that’s how amazing it is!”

Based on Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, delves into the untold backstories of the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.

The story begins long before Dorothy dropped into Oz, tracing the two witches’ friendship, romance, and self-discovery during their time at Shiz University.

Fans of the Broadway hit will have to wait for the full story, as the Wicked movie will be released in two parts, with Part One arriving on November 22 and Part Two set for November 21, 2025. Taking cues from the beloved musical, the film promises to reshape viewers’ understanding of the characters, challenging the notion of who is truly “wicked” in the Wizard of Oz universe.
