Waka Flocka was recently axed from an appearance at a liquor store due to his support of Donald Trump. Now, he is questioning why his political views are even being brought up.
The “No Hands” rapper was scheduled to have a meet-and-greet at Lax Wine and Spirits in Washington, D.C., on Friday. However, the location issued a statement revealing they’d canceled the event.
“I am not a huge political or music person, and I truly had no idea about the views of Waka Flocka Flame, nor do I share his views! My community has spoken, and the event for tomorrow has been cancelled,” Lax Wine and Spirits said in a statement.
In response, Flocka lashed out online.
“Imagine living in a country that was built on free speech to ultimately find out free speech is only given to those who don’t go against the system… a lot of people need to wake up… y’all being used for a bigger agenda… free speech is free speech… my decision for who I vote for is my decision… y’all talking about freedoms,” Flocka began.

It is important to note that despite his unwavering support, Flocka was later discovered to have never voted for Trump. Still, Flocka believes he shouldn’t have to formally vote to show his love for a candidate and feels his canceled meet-and-greet was solely based on personal opinions.
“One of my meet-and-greet events in DC was canceled today because of some people’s opinion… because they harassed a liquor store until they canceled the shit… then they spin it like I did something wrong for having an opinion… that’s freedom,” Flocka concluded.
