Cardi B and DDG recently faced criticism from online trolls after posting about their kids on social media platform, X.

First up, Cardi B posted an adorable video of her son, Wave Set Cephus, spelling words while his older sister, Kulture Kiari Cephus, cheered him on.

The proud mom, who shares three kids with Offset, captioned the video, “My kids are so smart,” but some trolls reacted negatively.

One commenter accused her of “sneak dissing on people’s kids”, leaving Cardi baffled.

She replied, “I’m lost? I can’t be proud of my son spelling his name and other things at three?”

In response to the negativity, fans quickly jumped to Cardi’s defense.

One supporter said, “Never stop bragging. Somebody told me I was insensitive for always mentioning my daughter could read at 2 ’cause not all kids could. Like, I put in work, and so did she.”

Another chimed in, praising Cardi’s dedication: “It’s an important age where parents should be pouring into their children’s minds and spending as much time with them as possible… you’re clearly doing amazing, ’cause it shows through their speech!”

Similarly, DDG encountered trolls after sharing an AI-enhanced image of his son, Halo, whom he shares with Halle Bailey.

One commenter told him to “stop using your son for fame,” to which DDG responded, “I never understood this narrative when my son can’t even talk yet. He’s ‘famous’ right now because of his parents. If your dad posted you when you were young, no one would care lol.”

In DDG’s defense, fans also reacted strongly against the trolls. One wrote, “Y’all hating on a young man for loving his son and having the best time with him? 😂😂😂 that’s why y’all get deadbeat baby daddies and fathers.” Another added humorously, “You’re just like any other parent posting pictures of their children. How dare you; you’re a monster 🤣👏 I got 5 kids, and I’m nobody, so his logic is wrong. Lol.”
