Back in April, Andy Lee stood in front of an old marble fireplace, knelt down and asked Rebecca Harding, his partner of nine years, to marry him.
Lee had taken Harding to their new house under the guise that they needed to film videos for social media before they started works on the property.
Months on from the dreamy proposal, Harding tells 9honey from Derby Day that the couple’s family and friends “really would like a wedding to happen soon”.

They may have to wait a little longer, though, she explains from the Crown marquee, where she is with her The 100 host partner.
“We spent about five minutes talking about it a few months ago, and then I was like, it’s too stressful about right now,” she laughs.
“We do need to start thinking about it, though, but we haven’t yet. That’s a future problem. We’re, like, the worst engaged couple ever.”

Harding and Lee made their entrance at Derby Day in a helicopter, though the former admits she was petrified when she was the blades start spinning.
Not because she was nervous about flying, that is – she was worried the wild winds would ruin her sleek hairdo.
“I feel like having the headband. It kind of keeps together,” she says in hindsight.
While her fiance looked dapper in a charcoal suit, Harding stunned in a structured black dress with a plunging neckline.

“My stylist had a very clear vision of what she wanted with the dress and, like, the whole outfit, so it was completely up to her,” she adds.
There are so many glamorous, daring looks on display in the Birdcage, but Harding admits that at the end of the the day, the most important thing for her is comfort.
Hence the chic headband she chose over a more traditional wide-brimmed hat.
“I feel like headbands and headpieces are a lot more comfortable.”
