The legendary Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon is turning 45, and it’s doing so in a breathtaking fashion, thanks to Moncler.

The two brands are Introducing the ultra-exclusive G Class Past II Future, a special edition designed with an extra luxurious flair and limited to just 20 models.  This stunning G-Wagon, brought to life by fashion visionary Nigo, celebrates the model’s iconic heritage while pushing it into the future with flair and elegance.

Unveiled at the “City of Genius” show in Shanghai, this new G Class is the latest in Mercedes’ collaboration with Moncler, and it’s nothing short of spectacular.  Inspired by streetwear designer Nigo’s previous one-off G-Wagon restoration, this edition offers a four-door hardtop in a two-tone olive green and grey paint job, matte black accents, and the bold “Past II Future” branding, which makes it impossible to miss.  The striking checkered seat inserts perfectly match the Mercedes x Moncler capsule collection shirts.  Additionally, they’ve added the “1 of 20” number on the center console, marking the exclusivity.

Beneath the hood, the Past II Future packs serious performance.  Buyers can opt for the G 450d’s turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six diesel engine or the G550’s robust twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8, delivering up to 416 horsepower.  Both engines channel their impressive power to all four wheels via a refined nine-speed automatic transmission.

Deliveries are set for next spring, and while pricing is yet to be announced, it’s sure to exceed the standard G-Wagon’s $150,000 price tag.
