Donald Trump has decided to take his campaign to the working class, becoming a McDonald’s employee for a day.

On Sunday, the controversial presidential candidate swapped out his blazer for a McDonald’s apron. He chose a location in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania, which drew a wave of spectators who lined up to see the Republicans in action.

In several videos shared across social media, Trump was seen serving customers in the drive-thru, making fries, and learning the inner workings of the fast food chain.  He also faced questions from people who wanted to know his views on minimum wage, especially seeing how tedious the job of fast food employees can be.  While he dodged questions about whether the federal minimum wage should be raised, he acknowledged his temporary coworkers’ dedication.

“I think these people work hard.  They’re great, and I just saw something, a process that’s beautiful. It’s a beautiful thing to see.  These are great franchises and produce a lot of jobs,” he shared with one group.

He also answered questions regarding whether or not he would accept the results of this year’s election.  Trump stated he would, though considering his actions in 2020 and refusing to acknowledge Joe Biden as the rightful winner, many remain weary that he would approve of Kamala Harris beating him.
