Kathy Williams, the mother of missing Broadway dancer Zelig Williams, made a tearful plea Wednesday for any information on her son’s whereabouts. Speaking at a press conference organized by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department in South Carolina, Kathy’s emotional appeal left the room silent as she begged for her son’s safe return.

“I just want Zelig to come home,” she said, before collapsing into the arms of a family member. Overcome with grief, she repeatedly cried, “He’s all I got, please bring my baby home.”

Zelig, 28, a talented dancer who performed in Broadway hits such as MJ The Musical and Hamilton, has been missing since October 3. His car was found near Congaree National Park, but no signs of foul play or a car accident were found, despite an SOS alert from his phone suggesting a crash.

During the press conference, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott urged the community to come forward with any information, emphasizing that someone may unknowingly hold the key to solving the case. “We will continue to search to find him,” Lott said.

The family shared that Zelig may have stopped taking crucial medication before his disappearance, making him especially vulnerable and potentially in distress. Zelig’s cousin, Mieoki Corbett-Jacobs, described him as “very, very vulnerable” without the medication.

The case has gained national attention, with actor Hugh Jackman, who worked with Zelig, using social media to encourage the public to help locate him.

Zelig is described as a 6’0”, 150-pound Black male with a light complexion, short black hair, brown eyes, and a birthmark on his throat. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Richland County Sheriff’s Department at (803) 576-3000 or reach out to Crime Stoppers at crimesc.com.
