Aldi just gave shoppers another reason to be thankful this holiday season.

On October 16, the discount grocery chain revealed its lowest-priced Thanksgiving meal deal in five years. Known for keeping prices low, Aldi is now rolling out a $47 Thanksgiving basket, complete with everything you need for a festive feast.

For $47, shoppers can snag a 16-pound Butterball turkey alongside all the fixings: stuffing, rolls, cornbread, macaroni and cheese, and spices. Plus, Aldi’s basket covers sides like mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, and cranberry sauce. And no holiday meal is complete without dessert—ingredients for a classic pumpkin pie are also included. This meal feeds up to 10 people, which means you’re spending less than $4.70 per person!

Unlike traditional grocery stores that often require loyalty programs, coupons, or minimum purchases, Aldi’s Thanksgiving meal deal is hassle-free. There’s no need to jump through hoops to score these savings. Aldi has been working hard to keep prices affordable, using smaller store formats, and maintaining a “quarter cart” system that cuts down operational costs. Plus, the groceries stay in their original packaging to save on overhead.

This Thanksgiving deal isn’t Aldi’s first move to keep food prices in check. Back in May, as inflation hit its peak, Aldi reduced prices on more than 250 items to help customers save big. Those discounts lasted through Labor Day and saved shoppers an impressive $100 million—nearly double the $60 million in savings from summer 2023! With cuts ranging from 10 cents to over $1.50, customers saw savings across the board on pantry staples, meat, and seafood.
