Rising pop recording artist Lo Lauren celebrates the magic of a kiss this week, with the launch of her latest single ‘Before The Kiss’.
Serving as the follow up to previous release ‘Wonder’, and co-written by the singer along with Andreas Hedegaard Mikkelsen, Carys Selvey and Chris Chordz, the intoxicating track sees Lauren adopt something of a more synth-pop inspired sound, to deliver perhaps the most experimental song of her career so far.
Commenting on the single, the ‘Only One on Earth’ says via a press release: “I have always loved the moment before you’re about to kiss someone – those couple of seconds of anticipation for what’s about to unfold. That’s what we focused on solely in this song – those initial interactions with somebody you like and wishing you could stay like that forever. I also had a moodboard with some images of people with glitter on their lips (I’m obsessed with putting glitter on everything) – so that visual helped inspire us lyrically.”
