Singer Olivia Rodrigo is making the most of her trip Down Under, taking some time while in Melbourne to meet a very special star.
The 21-year-old uploaded a video of herself in the penguin enclosure at Sea Life Melbourne, where she came across the “owner of this house,” Pesto the Penguin.
The baby penguin starred with the singer in her TikTok, who lipsynced to a popular audio.

At the end, Rodrigo marveled at the size of the fluffy penguin chick, posing behind Pesto who seemed nonchalant at the celebrity attention.
The Vampire singer is not the only one who made seeing Pesto a priority, with superstar Katy Perry also stopping by before her performance at the AFL Grand Final.

She even serenaded him, sweetly singing: “He’s just a little baby.”
“Can you wish me luck for Saturday? It’s a pretty big day,” she added, in reference to the AFL Grand Final, which was eventually won by the Brisbane Lions.
Pesto reportedly weighs around 22.5kg and is one of the biggest baby penguins ever seen.

Rodrigo is fully embracing Aussie culture during her trip, even enjoying a Aussie delicacy.
On TikTok, the Drivers License singer recorded herself sampling Tim Tams, accompanied by a viral audio.
“Spectacular, give me 14 of ’em right now,” she lip-synced, captioning the post: “First time in Australia omg I get the Tim Tam hype,” with the video amassing a whopping 5.6 million views on TikTok.

Rodrigo appeared to be backstage when the video was recorded, sitting on a couch surrounded by nine packets of the Arnott’s treat.
Rodrigo will be finishing up her performances on Melbourne on October 14, after which she will be making her way to Sydney for four sold-out shows from October 17 to 22.
