Kayla Nicole may have had a fling with Iman Shumpert. 

During her appearance on the “Unapologetically Angel” podcast, the 32-year-old spoke about another high-profile man she dated while chatting with host Angel Reese in Thursday’s episode.  Nicole reflected on the brief fling while examining the “craziest thing” she had ever done.

“We weren’t in a relationship, but … I was dating a guy,” the model said. “He dumped me through a text message … for this singer/actress who was famous at the time. [He] lied about it for months then popped out with her,” she claimed. “It became this public thing, like, ‘Oh, my God, we love them.’”

The ex-girlfriend of Travis Kelce admitted that she was “devastated” and “heartbroken” when the famous couple went public. She’d even moved to New York to be closer to him. To make herself feel better, Nicole boldly dressed up as Shumpert’s new partner, which social media quickly identified as Teyana Taylor. 

Internet sleuths quickly dug up throwback images of Nicole wearing a cropped gray tank, a thong, and knee pads, a look Taylor previously wore in Kanye West’s 2016 “Fade” video. However, the timeline is a bit odd, as Taylor began dating Shumpert in 2013, which was three years before the “Fade” video came out. The couple wed in October 2016, indicating that Nicole only learned of Shumpert and Taylor’s relationship at the time of their engagement or marriage.

Taylor fired back on social media, sharing a video of the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, stating, “And everyone, get ready to do your math.”

Nicole also had a few words after the three-way love affair began taking over social media, slamming people criticizing her for speaking on her past experiences.
