Over the years we’ve seen some big international names make their way Down Under for the Melbourne Cup Carnival, with everyone from Hollywood actors to supermodels and even royalty spotted trackside.
And this year will mark the return of a famous face – for the first time in 21 years.
American socialite Nicky Hilton Rothschild – younger sister to Paris Hilton – is making her Melbourne Cup comeback next month.

The last time she was at Flemington Racecourse was in 2003, with her sister by her side.
This time Hilton Rothschild will be joined by Aussie fashion designer Rebecca Vallance-Gasan, who she recently collaborated with on a holiday collection for the Rebecca Vallance label.
”The Birdcage will be brimming with excitement at Nicky’s attendance on Melbourne Cup Day and the prospect of her and Rebecca’s newly announced collection adorning fashionistas,” Lexus Australia chief executive John Pappas said per The Sydney Morning Herald.
The socialite will stop by the Lexus marquee for her 2024 Melbourne Cup visit.

The Hilton sister duo made quite the fashionable appearance for their Melbourne Cup debut two decades ago, rocking some fascinators and noughties-style looks for the Birdcage.
“I do remember that it was pretty incredible as a teenager, dressing up and wearing fascinators. It was a fun time,” Hilton Rothschild reflected on her last Melbourne Cup.

Hilston Rothschild is the latest international star to be added to the 2024 Melbourne Cup guest list.
Just weeks earlier the Victoria Racing Club announced this year’s star-studded The Park entertainment lineup, featuring noughties superstars Anastacia and Sophie Ellis-Bextor as well as Irish singer Ronan Keating.
The superstars will all travel Down Under to all perform at Flemington Racecourse.
I’m Outta Love singer Anastacia will take the stage on Penfolds Victoria Derby Day, followed by a performance later in the week from Murder on the Dancefloor hitmaker Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
Keating, of ’90s Irish boy band Boyzone fame, will perform on Crown Oaks Day.
As it the lineup wasn’t star-studded enough, Olympic gold medalist Ariarne Titmus was previously announced as an ambassador for the 2024 Melbourne Cup Carnival.
