Jessie J has given fans an update on her breast cancer battle in an Instagram post that featured an adorable video of her toddler son.
The Price Tag singer uploaded a video overnight of two-year-old Sky repeating the phrase “Mummy’s gonna be OK” along with an accompanying post in which she revealed she was cancer-free.
The singer, whose real name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, wrote, “And… I am OK. Results = I have NO cancer. Happy tears are real.”

“Thank you for the prayers, the love, the well wishes, the joy and all the positive energy,” she continued.
“This video is from the night before my surgery. We called it baby boy. You are my biggest ray of light and with you in my life the darkness will never win.
“Lots of healing to go and one more surgery to make these cousins look more like sisters.
“But for now it’s gratitude time and I am changing my name to The LopJess monster.”

It was the second update the singer had given fans in as many days and comes after the singer revealed last month she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Jessie J first revealed in a video she uploaded to Instagram on June 3 that she had been diagnosed with “early breast cancer” after spending the year “in and out of tests”.
“Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding on to the word ‘early’,” she told fans, before revealing she would be undergoing surgery after a planned performance in London on June 15.
“I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with massive tits and more music.”
She also said she was initially hesitant to reveal the news before deciding to share her diagnosis in solidarity with others going through the same, or worse.
“Selfishly, I do not talk about it enough. I’m not processing it because I’m working so hard,” she said.
“I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories. I’m an open book.”
During her June 15 appearance, she told the crowd, “This show is my last show before I go and beat breast cancer… So it’s so special to me, you have no idea.”
Then, two weeks ago, she shared a series of photos and videos of herself post-operation, including some that were confronting, such as a large container of bloody fluid collected from a drain in her chest.
She was later forced to address fans again to explain that when she previously wrote “cancer is all gone” with a fingers crossed emoji, this was not a fact but a positive affirmation, and she was still awaiting results.

Just days ago, she admitted to fans in a post that she was battling “some delayed sadness and frustration” over the fact she “didn’t say goodbye to my old boob enough” because she was in “survival mode”.
Now, she and her fans can breathe a sigh of relief after tests showed no cancer spread.
Jessie J did not clarify if she will require any further treatment beyond the planned follow-up surgery she mentioned in her post, which is likely to be a breast augmentation procedure following a mastectomy.
Jessie J’s partner Chanan Safir Colman, a former pro basketball player, has been by her side throughout her health battle.
The two welcomed son Sky in May 2023.
