Following his solo trip to Venice for the “wedding of the century” amid his rumoured split from fiancée Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom has shared cryptic posts on social media.
The 48-year-old spoke about “new beginnings” after what’s been reported to be the recent end of the couple’s nine-year relationship.
“Each day is a new beginning,” the Buddha quote shared by Bloom read. “What we do today is what matters most.”

The Buddha quote was followed by another from Japanese author Daisaku Ikeda, on “fear”, “courage” and taking “that first step”, which appeared to be created by Bloom himself for his Instagram Story.
“The important thing is to take that first step,” the Ikeda quote began.
“Bravely overcoming one small fear gives you the courage to take on the next.”
The Deep Cover actor was reportedly set to “make his debut as a single man” at the nuptials of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez in Venice, according to US outlet TMZ, but Bloom and Perry didn’t make any announcements ahead of the wedding or give any public confirmation of their split.

Perry, who went into space with Sanchez earlier this year on Bezos’s Blue Origin rocket, missed the wedding due to shows in Adelaide on both Friday and Sunday nights during the festivities.
Sanchez-Bezos told the singer “We miss you Katy”, underneath Perry’s post of a visit to Rottnest Island, in Western Australia, with her four-year-old daughter Daisy.
Bloom attended the three-day wedding in the Italian city of canals after a whirlwind trip to Australia.

The actor shared video on Kangaroo Island in South Australia along with shots of Daisy.
Bloom and Perry first met after the Golden Globes in 2016 and reportedly started dating soon after before a brief split in 2017.
In August 2020 they welcomed their daughter and got engaged in February 2019 but never wed.
