Kelsey Parker, the widow of The Wanted singer Tom Parker, has honoured their eldest child on her fifth birthday, one week after her son with her new partner was stillborn.
On Instagram overnight, Parker, 35, paid tribute to daughter Aurelia, who is one of two children she shared with the singer, who lost his battle with brain cancer in March 2022. He was 32.
Since then, the business owner and podcast host has attempted to move on with her life, and was excited to welcome her first child with partner Will Lindsay when the baby boy they named Phoenix was stillborn. She shared the news a week ago in an emotional Instagram post.

Now, just one week after announcing the tragedy, Parker returned to Instagram with a touching tribute to her eldest daughter, which included a video montage set to the Harry Styles song Golden.
“Aurelia means ‘The Golden One’ and that’s what you are,” she wrote.
“You’ve been through so much my darling daughter, but you’re the most precious little girl any mummy could wish for.
“I’m so happy we got to spend this weekend celebrating your birthday and turning another year older. I’m beyond proud of you and the amazing young woman you’re growing up to be.”

The video began with a touching clip of Tom Parker holding his newborn daughter.
Aurelia was still a toddler, having not yet turned three, when her dad died, while the couple’s youngest child, son Bodhi, was just 16 months old.
In the months and years that followed Parker’s death, his widow faced criticism for moving on too quickly.
She announced she was dating electrician Sean Boggans eight months after her husband’s death, who had previously been jailed over the death of a man.
They dated for five months before breaking up around the one-year anniversary of her husband’s death, but then rekindled the relationship before splitting for good around December 2023.
During an appearance on the chat show Loose Women, she criticised people who judged her.
“I just think that it was really tough for me… and I just wanted to say to people, ‘It’s ok for me to be happy and please don’t judge me because I’ve really been through it and I don’t need the judgement’.”
She took to Instagram in September last year to announce she was dating Will Lindsay by uploading a photo of the pair together along with a red heart emoji.
She later elaborated, telling fans, “I was really hesitant to share this part of my life, especially since many of you know me from my life with Tom and the horrific grief I’ve been dealing with after losing him.
“Opening up about my journey over the past couple of years has been incredibly healing, allowing me to connect with others who’ve gone through similar experiences and build a beautiful, supportive community.”

Just four months later, she revealed they were expecting their first child together.
She told The Mirror, ”Tom and I always said we wanted four – but life had other plans.
“So yes, this is amazing but also bittersweet. The joys of finding out I’m pregnant and moving forward with my life, while thinking, ‘My life could have been so different’. I’ve felt every emotion under the sun.”
Then tragedy struck, with Parker announcing a week ago that Phoenix had been “born sleeping” alongside a touching poem she had penned.

She later returned to her Instagram Story to thank fans who may want to leave messages and ask for “space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news”.
