Two worlds collided in Queensland when popstar Katy Perry made a visit to Wildlife Warrior and TV star Robert Irwin’s natural habitat.
Irwin took the 40-year-old star, who is currently in Australia for her Lifetimes Tour, on a tour around his family’s Australia Zoo.
After meeting some Aussie wildlife, Perry decided put Irwin’s dancing skills to the test sharing a waltz with the 21-year-old star – but it quickly went south.

“I heard that Robert Irwin was going to be on Dancing with the Stars so I thought maybe we should do a practice round here at Australia Zoo,” she said inviting Irwin for a dance.
“I love it, OK I’m ready,” Irwin said as he took Katy’s hands for a waltz around the room.
Perry sang the tune of the Blue Danube Waltz to accompany their impromptu waltz.

Shortly after, Perry suggested a dip and Irwin agreed. But as Perry leaned back into the dip, Irwin appeared to drop the singer as she fell to the floor in an awkward moment.
But the pair quickly brushed it off finishing their dance off with a pose and a thumbs up for the camera.
“Maybe stick with the animals,” Perry quipped as Irwin helped Perry up off the floor.

The hilarious video comes months before Irwin is set to debut on the American reality TV show Dancing with the Stars.
He will be starring in season 34 of the popular dancing show in September, an announcement of his involvement was made back in April.
”It’s official, I’m heading to Hollywood for Dancing With The Stars Season 34,” Irwin wrote, announcing the news to Instagram.
“This has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid watching my sister’s incredible journey on the show.
“I cannot believe it is about to become a reality. So grateful.”
