Rebel Wilson has revealed the one thing that took “a little bit of time” in her relationship with Ramona Agruma.
The Pitch Perfect star began dating her now-wife Agruma in early 2022.
But speaking on SiriusXM Hits1’s show Ben +1, the Aussie actress revealed her in-laws weren’t initially on board with the pair’s romance.

Wilson said her own family were “very accepting” of her relationship with Agruma, but Agruma’s family weren’t “at first”.
Wilson and Agruma first tied the knot in a lavish Italian wedding in September 2024.

The ceremony was attended by the pair’s nearest and nearest – including all of Agruma’s “beautiful” family, Wilson confirmed.
Of her in-laws being there, Wilson said, “It’s almost like there wasn’t any drama”.
”It just took them a little bit of time,” she added.

”I think some people from some cultures, because it was the same-sex wedding, I guess, they just needed a little bit of time,” she explained.

Wilson revealed Agruma’s parents had recently stayed with them.
”It is a really happy ending,” she said. “It was never feuding”.

“It took them time, which is fair enough. They’re from a different culture, but it all worked out in the end, which I think is a good message.”
Wilson announced she was engaged to Agruma in February 2023.
Three months after their wedding abroad in Sardinia, Italy, the couple legally tied the knot in a second ceremony in Sydney, officiated by Wilson’s sister.

Wilson shared the exciting news with photos of the newlyweds taken at the Sydney Opera House in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Wilson has a daughter, Royce Lillian, whom she welcomed in November 2022 via surrogate.
The Aussie star is best known for her roles in the Pitch Perfect franchise as well as Hollywood films including The Hustle, Bridesmaids and How to Be Single.
