Beyoncé has kicked off her Cowboy Carter Tour with help from two very special guests close to her heart.
The superstar opened her world tour, which is for her Grammy-winning country album Cowboy Carter and will head to the US and Europe, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles overnight.
During her nearly three-and-a-half hour concert, the Crazy in Love singer surprised the crowd by bringing both of her daughters onstage.

While the singer’s eldest daughter Blue Ivy is no stranger to performing with her famous mum, Rumi’s rare appearance marks her onstage debut.

The star’s two daughters joined her for a heartwarming performance of Protector, a song on Cowboy Carter about motherhood, which Rumi features on.

“Mom, can I hear the lullaby please?” Rumi can be heard at the beginning of the track.
In fan-captured clips circulating on social media, the trio all wore glittering costumes, with Rumi standing out in gold with a pair of matching cowboy boots.
For the chorus, Beyoncé held hands with Rumi as they walked to the front of the stage.

Beyoncé told the crowd at one point: “Give it up for Rumi, y’all.”
Rumi was beaming on stage as she waved to the crowd in parts of the performance.
Meanwhile, her big sister Blue Ivy performed behind with the backup dancers.

At the end of the song, Rumi turned around to give her mum a big hug, prompting a wide smile from the singer. She then told her daughter she’d done a “beautiful job”.
Blue Ivy joined her mum at several points during the concert.

Her aunt, Solange Knowles, posted a short clip of the teen dancing on stage to her Instagram Stories with the encouraging caption: “Exactlyyy neicy pooohh.”
Blue Ivy made her stage debut on her mum’s Renaissance World Tour in 2023.
She then performed with Beyoncé at her NFL Christmas halftime show in December 2024 and appeared on stage when her mum accepted the album of the year Grammy award for Cowboy Carter in February 2025.
