Isabelle Cornish‘s latest Instagram post should have come with a trigger warning for anyone with a fear of snakes.
The Aussie actress shared a video to her Instagram of an unusual discovery inside her kitchen.
“I went to make a cup of tea and he really wasn’t happy about it,” the 30-year-old wrote in the caption of a video of a snake staring back at her.

Cornish assured followers the snake was alive and well, telling them “don’t stress” before revealing she’d channelled her inner Steve Irwin and picked the snake up “on a stick and put him back outside”.

Cornish’s post was filled with followers commenting on the actress’ bravery while plenty of overseas fans struggled to comprehend the idea of finding a snake in the kitchen.
“I’d be selling the house 😱,” wrote one user.
Another echoed, “Australia is wild.”
Some didn’t seem as scared as others, though.
“Okay so must have its moments but wooow how magikal 😍 sooo beautiful,” wrote one person.
Another wrote, “Not happy at all but beautiful nonetheless 🐍.”

Cornish is an Australian actress best known for her roles in TV shows such as Puberty Blues and Home and Away.
She’s also the younger sister of Abbie Cornish, 42, who’s appeared in films such as Suckerpunch, Geostorm and Seven Psychopaths.
The sisters were both born in Lochivar, a village in the Hunter Region of New South Wales and grew up on a 70-hectare farm.
Abbie began modelling at 13 years old when Isabelle was just a child, after she made it to the finals of the Dolly Magazine competition.
She eventually made the move over to acting, with her younger sister growing up to follow in her footsteps.
