Charli XCX has met hundreds of fans Down Under, but there was one encounter she didn’t see coming during her latest trip.
The Brat singer, 32, journeyed to Australia this month for a series of Laneway Festival shows, and had a run-in with a python during her time on our shores.
Taking to social media, the hitmaker confessed she almost stepped on a snake when it was pitch black outside.

The star said that working in clubs and being involved in rave culture is crucial to her job.

The hitmaker confessed that the release of her latest album, Brat, was perfectly timed, which she partially credits for its success.
“I’ve made records in the past where I felt like, ‘Oh, this should really resonate with a lot of people,’ but it doesn’t,” she said.
“So, it’s cool, but I also feel like I deserve it. It’s nice to be vindicated.”
