Today’s New Music Friday brings a fresh crop of releases from some of the biggest names in the music, offering the perfect set of sounds to get the weekend started.
This week, Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley returned with a pop-infused bop with mommy-to-be, Flo Milli titled “Diana.” The track showcases Grizzley’s versatility and Milli’s infectious energy, making for a vibrant anthem that sets the vibe for the day parties of the weekend.
Meanwhile, Gunna surprised fans with his new single “Got Damn,” which delivers a melodic, trap-infused beat, produced by longtime collaborator Turbo. This release seems to be the latest indicator that the Atlanta rapper is working toward another album. In October, he unveiled the single, “Him All Along,” and suggested he was interested in performing an R&B-style project.
Additionally, SZA’s deluxe edition of her critically acclaimed album “SOS” titled “LANA” also made its debut on Friday. The expanded release includes new tracks, including “Drive,” and offers fans more introspective and emotive moments from the seductive songstress.
New Music Friday never disappoints and this week’s releases are no exception.
