Despite previous reports suggesting Wendy Williams’ health was deteriorating, recent outings appear to challenge these claims. After videos of Williams attending her son’s graduation surfaced, another clip showed the beloved TV host celebrating with her family at a day party, gifting loved ones, and enjoying the milestone.

In newly released footage from the “We In Miami” podcast, hosted by Slim Stunta, Williams is seen having a joyful time with her family in Miami. The video captures her laughing, sharing stories, and exchanging gifts, with Slim describing her as “mentally sharp” and “the Wendy we all know and love”—a stark contrast to the claims of her being “permanently incapacitated.”
This uplifting appearance follows Williams’ placement under court-ordered guardianship in May 2022, after she faced health challenges such as Graves’ disease, lymphedema, alcohol abuse, and frontotemporal dementia. Last month, reports claimed she was “permanently disabled” and still estranged from her family. However, these current moments suggest there has been some positive progress in her life.
Williams’ presence in Florida for the graduation celebrations aligns with her family’s belief that her health improves when she is surrounded by loved ones. Although she has been living in New York in recent months, some close to her have expressed concern that her guardian was limiting their access to the 60-year-old. This week’s sightings, however, indicate a more hopeful situation.
