Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, former star of Vanderpump Rules, is speaking out about her past relationship with ex-fiancé James Kennedy after recent reports of domestic violence involving him and his current girlfriend, Ally Lewber.
Rachel Leviss, 30, took to Instagram on December 13, 2024, sharing her thoughts on a TMZ headline that referred to Kennedy’s recent arrest for misdemeanor domestic violence as a “misunderstanding.” This arrest came after an alleged altercation between Kennedy, 32, and Lewber, 28, at a residence in Burbank, California, on December 10. Despite the allegations, sources have said that Lewber is standing by Kennedy, with a legal representative for the reality TV star stating that they are investigating the claims.
In Rachel Leviss Instagram post, Leviss shared a screenshot of the TMZ story and expressed the emotional toll the situation has had on her. “The amount of times I convinced myself that the abuse I endured by James Kennedy Georgiou was a ‘misunderstanding’ is sickening,” Leviss wrote in the caption. She urged her nearly 600,000 followers to listen to a previous episode of her podcast, Rachel Going Rogue, where she goes into further detail about her experiences.
The arrest, which stemmed from a call to Burbank police about an argument between a man and a woman, resulted in Kennedy’s detention on charges of misdemeanor domestic violence. Although no visible injuries were reported at the time, sources claimed that a witness saw Kennedy allegedly grab Lewber during the heated dispute. A police report revealed that Lewber claimed Kennedy picked her up and threw her to the ground before the officers arrived.
