Snoop Dogg recently shared a hilarious video of his grandkids and their first interaction this year with their Elf on the Shelf.
In the video, two of Snoop Dogg’s granddaughters can be seen running towards the dining room where their Elf on the Shelf is hanging from the chandelier with a letter.
There is a voice heard off camera directing the girls towards the letter. They excitedly climb on the dining room table to retrieve the special message.
“Hello! So happy to be with you this year,” the letter read. “Every night, Santa will be getting a report about you, so make sure to be on your best behavior at all times. Let the adventures begin. It’s going to be so much fun! Love, Elfie.”
After the letter is read, Snoop Dogg’s granddaughters stand frozen in on the table. One of the comments that she is, “…too scared to move!”
She then questions, “Tomorrow he coming?”
Someone explains that “Elfie” will be there every day. “Every day he’s going to be coming!”
Then, the 53-year-old rapper’s granddaughter’s creativity kicked-in when she explains that she did see “Elfie” walking back and forth in the house. “That why the Elf…I saw his feet!”
The same voice questions, “Do you think he heard you when you said you didn’t want to do two ponytails this morning?”
She responds, “No, it’s because he already left.”
If you are not familiar with the magic of the Elf on the Shelf, let us fill you in!
According to the Elf on the Shelf official website, the Elf on the Shelf is not just an elf, it’s the only lore-fueled elf that plays hide-and-seek with you, gets magic when adopted and named, reports to Santa Claus as part of the gig.
So, kids will have to be on their best behavior (nice) during the days leading up to Christmas and their elf will move and go give his report. However, if they are naughty, well, the elf will remain in the same spot and Santa will know. Check out the Elf on the Shelf website for tons of ideas and fun for the entire family!
