The Kid LAROI has issued an apology to disgruntled fans after an $800 exclusive meet-and-greet amid his national stadium tour was cancelled.
In a statement, the Aussie music sensation, 21, apologised for the “disappointment” with the meet-and-greet being set to take place backstage at his Sydney show the past weekend and reportedly cancelled at the last minute with fans waiting in line.
The rapper and singer said that “unforeseen circumstances outside his control” were the reason for cancelling and that he was “deeply sorry”.

”I’m deeply sorry for any disappointment this may have caused,” he said in a statement to News.com.au.
”I love my fans and always look forward to connecting with them.”
One fan and TikTok user claimed he complained to event organisers and they said they are “working on something truly special with The Kid LAROI to make it up to everyone who missed out on the meet-and-greet.”
He said he paid $800 for the experience and he originally had a text message that it was cancelled.

“I reckon you guys will get a private concert,” one user commented underneath one clip.
“Happened to me as well unfortunately,” another added.

Despite the cancelled meet-and-greet, he commemorated playing a stadium in his hometown of Sydney and said how much he “loves” his fans.
“Thank you to everyone who showed up for me last night & thank you for showing love like nowhere else in the world!!!!! I LOVE YOU SYDNEY!!!!!!” he wrote in part of his post.
The Kid LAROI, who is dating Canadian singer Tate McRae, is set to next play shows in Adelaide, Melbourne and Tasmania.
The Sydney born hitmaker, born Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, is known for songs including Stay, Without You and Girls.
He recently performed at the NRL Grand Final, thrilling fans and spectators while performing Baby I’m Back with pyrotechnics. After the performance he described it as a “dream come true”.
“Played to 80,000 people in my hometown at the @nrl grand final & I got to cover one of my favorite songs of ALL time. I LOVE YOU AUSTRALIA & LONG LIVE THE LEGEND MICHAEL HUTCHENCE 🕊️,” he wrote.
He recently performed across North America on his The First Time Tour. He was nominated for four ARIA Awards this year.
