This year, Seth Rogan’s The Studio scored 23 nominations to tie for the comedy series with the most nominations in Emmys history.

The Bear scored 13 nominations in total this year – 10 less than its record haul in 2024.

It’s been a big day for Pedro Pascal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who both received Emmy Award nominations just hours after launching their new movie in Sydney.

The pair looked jubilant as they attended The Fantastic Four: First Steps premiere alongside their co-stars Joseph Quinn and Vanessa Kirby, and now, they have even more to celebrate.

Pascal earned his second Emmy nod for his performance in The Last of Us, while Moss-Bachrach is hoping to win his third Emmy for his role in The Bear.

Moss-Bachrach won the Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series Emmy the last two years for his portrayal of volatile chef Richie.

Cate Blanchett was the only big-name Aussie among the nominees, scoring recognition for her limited series Disclaimer.

Blanchett, who is up for her third Emmy but yet to win one, was also nominated for a Golden Globe, Critic’s Choice and SAG Award earlier this year for the same role.

While the mini-series, which Blanchett served as executive producer on, was nominated for a Golden Globe and Critic’s Choice Award, it didn’t get an Emmy nomination.

This year’s awards feature a huge number of big-time Hollywood stars who are first-time Emmy nominees, including Harrison Ford (Shrinking), Javier Bardem (Monsters: The Lyle And Erik Menendez Story) and Colin Farrell (The Penguin).

Other first-time nominees include Jake Gyllenhaal (Presumed Innocent), Zoe Kravitz (The Studio) and The White Lotus season three co-stars Aimee Lou Wood and Jason Issacs.
