Louis Tomlinson has set a boundary with fans.
The former One Direction star took to X (formerly Twitter) on July 15 to ask fans to please stop sharing online speculation to do with his family.
While online attention is apart of the job, Tomlinson shared on the platform that the “conspiracy chat” has simply gone too far.

“The last few months have made it impossible to be on here,” he began.
“All the conspiracy chat about my relationship, my son or even stretching sometimes to opinions on my Mum.
“It’s just too much and too hurtful for me to see!”

The singer and his former partner Briana Jungwirth made the decision to keep their nine-year-old son out of the spotlight, however that hasn’t stopped fans from digging up any information they can.
Fans have also taken to social media platforms to speculate about Tomlinson’s relationship.
A few months ago he appeared on the Instagram story of UK Love Island star Zara McDermott, and fans haven’t let it go since, reading into every post shared by either star to decipher whether or not they are together.
But possibly most disturbing is the online chatter and conspiracy theories about Tomlinson’s mum and sister.
Back in 2016, the singer lost his mum Johannah Deakin following her battle with Leukemia.
The year prior in 2015, his sister Félicite had died from a drug overdose.

While most would think the death of a close relative would be something to leave private, some fans of the star insist on regularly sharing online content on both Johannah and Félicite.
Despite his disappointment in those who chose to share the parts of his life he would rather keep private, Tomlinson made sure to thanks those who have been in his corner.
“Thank you to everyone who always has my back!” He added at the end of his post.
