Delta Goodrem‘s close friend and bridesmaid has given a glimpse inside the Aussie songstress’ lavish Malta wedding to longtime partner Matthew Copley.
The couple tied the knot in June, with Renee Bargh serving as one of Goodrem’s bridesmaids. And it was a Today family affair, with Nine Entertainment Editor Richard Wilkins serving as MC.
Bargh, 38, told Today she has “chills and goosebumps” looking at the photos Goodrem has been sharing of her special day.

Goodrem began sharing photos of her Mdina, Malta wedding to Copley, a fellow musician, on Thursday, promising there were many more to come.
”It was truly the most magical thing I have ever … look at that setting, it was beyond,” Bargh told Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo.
“Delta looked like an absolute princess. She wore this Paulo Sebastian dress for the ceremony that took over 500 hours to create.

“It was honestly what I could picture Delta wearing and so much more, and it was just oozing love.”
Bargh said there were seven bridesmaids, calling it an “honour” to be among them.
“It was such an honour to be by her side, and it was such a special time, and Malta is such an incredible country,” she continued.
“Destination weddings are so fun because you get to hang out with everyone, there’s so many recovery events and things that lead into it.
“Conrad Sewell, our beautiful friend Conrad who’s a long-time collaborator of Matthew’s, he surprised them in the church with a beautiful a cappella rendition of Kissing You with this choir.
“It was unbelievable, and it was in St Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina in Malta, which is also just magic.”
Bargh didn’t give a speech at the ceremony but said there were “some beautiful speeches”, and the food was “so good”.
“The thing that I remember the most was the tiramisu, it was unbelievable.”
Bargh also enjoyed an Aperol Spritz at the event, as it was during European summer.

“Aperol Spritz all day, every day,” she added.
Stefanovic described Goodrem as having been “part of the fabric of this country” since she was young.
Having been through “a lot, like she has”, to see them on their wedding day and the “love in their eyes” is a “really beautiful moment”, he added.
“It was just true love and it was so authentic, it was so them,” Bargh said.
“I mean, these two have put on incredible shows around the world and they just knew every detail to make it such a special day.
“But you could really, really feel the love. And seeing these photos just makes me relive the whole thing.

“They stayed in this incredible hotel called the Phoenicia in Malta as well … everything was just so incredible.”
Of Wilkins’ turn as MC, Bargh said he was “incredible”.
”He’s the best. He’s so good at what he does and he’s such a beautiful friend of the couple. We had a great time.”
