Julian McMahon’s daughter Madison Elizabeth McMahon is mourning the loss of her father, after he died following a private cancer battle at the age of 56.
Now, after the late actor’s wife Kelly McMahon announced the news of his death in a heartbreaking statement on Friday (Saturday in Australia), Madison has shared a moving message for her dad.
Madison, 25, the Charmed star’s only child, reposted on her Instagram Stories the family’s message to fans after McMahon’s death, set to the song Sometimes We Cry by the artist he loved, Van Morrison.

In a message shared on the late actor’s Instagram, posted with the same song, the family shared a black and white portrait of McMahon and wrote: “Julian loved @vanmorrisonofficial
“For all of those who loved Julian, thank you.”
The family were flooded with tributes underneath the post.
Julian welcomed Madison with ex-wife, Brooke Burns.
His wife Kelly McMahon announced the news of the Charmed and Nip/Tuck star’s death from cancer in a statement to Deadline.

“With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” the statement read.

“Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible.
“We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life.
“We are grateful for the memories.”
Julian was the son of late Australian Prime Minister Sir William McMahon, with Julian forging a successful career for himself in Hollywood.
The star, who was once married to singer Dannii Minogue, got his acting start on soap The Power, The Passion, before joining Home and Away.
