Khloé Kardashian has spoken candidly about how she coped when her personal life hit the headlines during her divorce and the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal.
Speaking in a new episode of her Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, the reality star, 41, said the lessons she learned when she divorced Lamar Odom, while in the public eye, kept her strong for what was to come next; Thompson cheating on her while she was pregnant.
Kardashian made the admission when answering a fan question after being asked “what moment of her life made her feel like the strongest version of herself”.

”I don’t know if there was one particular moment,” she said.
”I feel like everything that happens in our lives is meant to happen, and even if they’re not all positive situations, I do think that there’s steps in why things happen to you.”
Speaking about her divorce from Odom, which was finalised in December 2016, she said: “It was so public. So public that I’ve never dealt with something like that before. But I dealt with it and I had my family’s support and all of that.”

Odom suffered a near-fatal drug overdose in 2015 and Kardashian helped look after him during his health battle.
She recently alleged he cheated on her when they were married.
”That was sort of a stepping stone, if you will, for the next big traumatic thing that happened to me.”
”[It] was when Tristan cheated on me right before I gave birth. Obviously no one can prepare you for something like that. And it wasn’t the cheating that’s like, ‘Ugh.’ People get cheated on.
”But it was more that I was nine months pregnant. I was having a baby two days later, and it was so public and it was everywhere.”
”But I think I handled it the best that I knew how, because I almost got a little experience of it, or a lot of experience of it, from my divorce with Lamar. So it sort of prepared me.”

Kardashian and Thompson share two children together, daughter True and son Tatum, but are believed to no longer be together.
They welcomed True in 2018 amid the scandal.
They are believed to have had an on-off relationship in the years following.
Seven months before Tatum was born in July 2022, via a surrogate, the reality star found out basketballer Thompson had fathered a child with another woman, who gave birth in December 2021.
”Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you,” he reportedly said in a public post afterwards.
