Hugh Jackman, 56, and Deborra-lee Furness, 69, have officially finalised their divorce.
Just four weeks after Furness released a powerful statement on the end of their marriage, People reports that online court records from New York’s Suffolk County Supreme Court show that a “judgement of divorce” was filed on June 12.
It was later uploaded to the website on June 23, and the case status is now marked as “disposed”.

In September 2023, the world was shocked by the news that Jackman and Furness had amicably gone their separate ways after almost 30 years of marriage.
At the time, the pair released a statement to People, saying in part, “We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage.
“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
It wasn’t until almost two years later that the Daily Mail reported Furness had officially filed for divorce on May 28, 2025.

After news broke, Furness released her first statement since news of the split came about in 2023, saying she “remains grateful,” but has been navigating “the traumatic journey of betrayal”.
In a statement shared with Nine, Furness said: “My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal.
“It’s a profound wound that cuts deep, however I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working FOR us.”
She shared that her faith is what helped her navigate the end of her marriage, believing that every obstacle in her path is leading her toward the “greatest good”.
“It is so easy to get lost in looking for love and validation outside ourselves, but that’s not where it lives – it lives within,” Furness continued.
“Sometimes the universe has to create arduous circumstances for us to walk through in order to find our way home, back to our true essence and the sovereignty of self love.”
Despite the pain of the split, Furness said that she felt ‘liberated’ returning to her true self and “living within [her] own integrity”.

“One thing I have learned is that none of this is personal, we are all on our individual journeys and I believe that the relationships in our lives are not random,” she said.
“We are drawn to people, we invite them in, in order to learn our lessons and to recognise and heal the broken parts of ourselves.”
She finished: “I remain grateful.”
