Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz Beckham celebrated five years since their 2020 engagement with sweet posts to mark the occasion.

Both shared different loved up photos on social media, showing the couple kissing, as they gushed about their romance amid a rumoured family feud.

“Best decision ever,” Brooklyn, 26, cryptically added in his caption.

“It’s been 5 years since I asked this beautiful woman to marry me,” he also wrote, before declaring his love and adding a heart emoji.

Brooklyn was the first to post about the memorable day on Tuesday AEST but more than 16 hours later and none of his family had yet hit “like” or commented on the post.

Nicola similarly followed suit hours later on Wednesday morning AEST, sharing her own photos of the couple.

“5 years ago we got engaged,” the 30-year-old told fans, before adding a message for her hubby.

“I love living life with you baby – I loveee you so muchhh.”

Similarly none of the wider Beckham family had liked or commented on the anniversary.

However, other famous friends were quick to offer their well-wishes for the lovebirds – among them family-friend David Furnish, who is married to Elton John.

Actress Tay Lautner also commented on the “cuties”.

Brooklyn’s post came hours after Cruz Beckham, 20, reignited the reports of a rift in the family by taking a swipe at his older brother on social media.

Brooklyn has tried his hand at a raft of industries including going from professional photography to celebrity chef and YouTube content creator among other things.

So when Cruz was asked if he plans to stick to music as his day job, he hit out.

“Are you going to stick with this job or going to become a race car driver next or something?” one person asked in the comments of a social media post.

In three simple words he shut down any comparisons with Brooklyn.

“Wrong brother mate,” Cruz wrote.

Reports of a feud within the Beckham family have been gaining momentum over the past few months.

Adding to them is the fact that no-one in the family seeming to deny the growing rift, which reportedly began after Nicola chose to wear a Valentino design for her wedding dress instead of one by her now mother-in-law Victoria Beckham.

When the rumours first sparked, Nicola and Victoria shared sweet comments on each other’s social media posts to water down the theories.

But more recently, all that appears to have stopped.

However, in recent Father’s Day posts and for David Beckham’s 50th birthday, David and Victoria both made sure to include Brooklyn in their online tributes for the big days.

Although, perhaps the most telling sign so far as to the state of relations within the family, was Brooklyn and Nicola’s absence from any of David Beckham’s many 50th birthday celebrations – which were held in both the UK and US.
