Cobra Kai actor Martin Kove was reportedly asked to leave a fan convention after allegedly biting his co-star during a meet-and-greet.
Kove, 78, attended Summer Con in Washington alongside co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim, 37, who plays Kim Da-Eun in The Karate Kid spinoff series on Netflix.
According to a report from the Puyallup Police Department obtained by People and Variety, when Hannah-Kim went to greet Kove at the convention it’s alleged he “suddenly grabbed her arm and bit her upper arm so hard it nearly drew blood, and she yelled out in pain”.

He then allegedly began kissing her arm where he had allegedly bit her.
The report stated Hannah-Kim had told her husband of the incident.
After confronting Kove, the actor allegedly “exploded on them”.

The actress then approached an enforcement officer at the event who questioned Kove.
According to the report, Kove “thought he was being funny, and they play fight all the time on the set of Cobra Kai, and he did not think it was a big deal”.
Hannah-Kim told Kove “he had legitimately caused her pain.”

The actress reportedly told the officer she would not press charges but filed a report “in case this continues.”
People reported as per the obtained documents, Kove was escorted out of the event.

Kove starred in the original Karate Kid franchise and its spinoff series as the Cobra Kai sensei and villain, John Kreese.
Hannah-Kim joined the cast of Cobra Kai for its fifth season, which aired in 2022.
She played the antagonistic Sensei Kim Da-Eun, who is a close friend of Kreese’s.
Hannah-Kim reprised her role for the show’s sixth and final season, which aired in three parts, the last premiering in February 2025.
Kove stars as Cobra Kai’s sensei, Kreese, in the original Karate Kid film trilogy.
He joined Cobra Kai from its second season until the show’s conclusion.
