Beyoncé shocks with a special guest and a live debut at her Paris concert

Jun 19, 2025

Beyoncé has provided her Paris fans with the performance of a lifetime.

While every Beyoncé concert is a spectacle to behold, the singer sprinkled a little extra something on her latest stop on the Cowboy Carter Tour.

Performing at Paris’ State de France, the music icon welcomed a special guest to the stage for the live debut of one of her biggest hits.

When Miley Cyrus walked out onto the stage, fans in the crowd went wild.

Not only did Cyrus last perform in a stadium in 2014, explaining she finds the experience isolating, Beyoncé hardly ever brings guests out during her shows.

There had been rumours circulating throughout the day that Cyrus could make an appearance to perform a live debut of the pair’s Grammy-winning duet II Most Wanted from the latter’s album Cowboy Carter, however it seemed like a stretch.

While, yes, Cyrus was already in Paris to perform for Spotify’s Billions Club Live, a surprise appearance at Beyoncé’s stadium tour seemed out of the ordinary for both performers.

“I love y’all so much. I’m super excited because I wanted to do something very special for your guys,” Beyoncé said as the crowd erupted in cheers.

“Give it up. I’m so grateful to sing with you Ms. Miley Cyrus.”

The pair were glistening on stage, each wearing shimmering gold ensembles.

Beyoncé wore a golden mini dress with a tasselled hem while Cyrus wore a bedazzled jumpsuit.

While II Most Wanted was released on Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter album in 2024, it had originally been written by Cyrus around two years earlier.

“When Beyoncé reached out to me about music, I thought of it right away because it really encompasses our relationship,” she told W magazine.

“I told her, ‘We don’t have to get country; we are country. We’ve been country.’

“I said, ‘You know, between you being from Texas and me being from Tennessee, so much of us is going to be in this song’,” she continued.

“Getting to write a song, not just sing, for Beyoncé was a dream come true.”
