Asked how he prepared for fatherhood ahead of Lily’s birth, Verstappen said he already had some experience with Picquet’s first daughter, who she shares with ex-boyfriend, former Formula One driver Daniil Kvyat.
“I’m kind of like a bonus dad already with my girlfriend having a daughter, so I saw her grow up since she was one year old and that helps a lot already to prepare for your own child,” he said.
