Aussie cricketer Marnus Labuschagne has announced he and his wife Rebekah are expecting their second child.
The Brisbane Heat, Queensland and Australian batsman took to Instagram to share the happy news, revealing the family’s new addition, a baby boy, is due in April.
“Our family of 3 becomes 4 with a little boy joining us in April,” he wrote.

The couple already shares two-year-old daughter Hallie who they welcomed in September 2022.
Alongside the announcement, Marnus shared a a carousel of photos of the young family.
In the first photo, Marnus and Rebekah embrace each other as they hold Rebekah’s baby bump.

Their daughter Hallie joins them in the second photo, she sits atop her dad’s shoulders as they all smile for the camera.
In the third photo, Hallie gives her mum’s baby bump a kiss in an adorable mother-daughter moment.
Tens of thousands were quick to react to the family’s happy news with many friends, family and fans taking to the comment section to share their well wishes.

”Congratulations mate,” wrote fellow cricketer Cameron Merchant.
Cricketers Jemimah Rodrigues and Chris Cooke followed suit with similar messages alongside many others.
The announcement comes ahead of Marnus’ sole BBL appearance of the season for Brisbane Heat against Hobart Hurricanes at the Gabba tonight.
He is then expected to depart for Australia’s tour of Sri Lanka.
Marnus and Rebekah welcomed their first child Hallie in September 2022. At the time, Marnus took to his Instagram to share the happy arrival with the world.
“Bek and I are so excited to welcome Hallie Grace Labuschagne to the world,” he wrote.
“Easily the proudest moment of my life so far.”
Marnus accompanied the announcement with a series of photos of their couple with their newborn daughter.

In the first photo, Rebekah admires the baby girl sleeping in her arms while Marnus smiles for the camera.
Another photo sees a smiling Marnus reclining on the hospital bed with his daughter sleeping soundly in his arms wrapped in a floral blanket.
There’s no doubt the family will recreate the adorable family photos in April when their newest addition arrives.
