Tristan Thompson has reportedly settled his ongoing child support debt with Jordan Craig, the mother of his first child, Prince Oliver. The resolution comes after a lengthy legal battle over financial obligations for their son. Thompson, who has been embroiled in various personal and legal issues in recent years, is now said to have come to an agreement with Craig, putting an end to their contentious dispute.
Back in 2023, Craig took legal action against the Cleveland Cavilers player after being frustrated over missed child support payments. Thompson’s debt accumulated to $224,000.
This settlement marks a significant development in their co-parenting arrangement, allowing both parties to move forward without further legal complications.
Recently, Thompson shared images of himself and three out of four of his children spending time together for the holidays.
The 33-year-old posted a carousel of images of himself, Prince (8), True (6), and Tatum (2), with simple red heart. As anticipated, the public swiftly shared their opinions, with reactions varying widely across the spectrum.
One internet user thought that posting images of only three of his children was “tacky”. She wrote, “Tacky considering you have another child.”
Another wrote, “Where’s your mistake baby?”
A third challenged Thompson to “do better”. “Imagine how that other baby’s going to feel seeing these. Do better!”
The fourth child that everyone is referring to is two-year-old Theo. Thompson and Theo’s mother, model, Maralee Nichols, had a relationship while the NBA player was with ex-Khloe Kardashian. DNA results dispelled rumors and speculation pertaining to Theo’s parentage, proving that Thompson was indeed Theo’s father.
At the time, Thompson posted a statement on social media that read: “Paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.”
Thompson shares his four children with three women: Jordan Craig (Prince Oliver), Khloe Kardashian (True and Tatum), and Maralee Nichols (Theo).
