“So I love her to death and I’m very thankful.”
He added it was “brutal” to go through things so publicly.
“I’m really thankful, she’s amazing,” he added.

People recently reported Cope filed to dismiss the divorce.
The actor, known for shows including Blossom and Brotherly Love, previously shut down allegations of an affair between him and his co-star Melina Alves.
“With a deep sense of responsibility, I want to respond to the recent allegations surrounding my personal life, including my divorce and the claims of an affair with Melina Alves,” he said in a statement at the time that was shared with fans and followers on Instagram.
“Melina and I became close friends and I did not have a physical relationship with her while filming the movie Socked in for Christmas.”
“These rumours are false. Our bond was based on shared experiences and an understanding of the challenges we were both facing in our personal lives.”

“The unravelling of my marriage was tied to my realisation that there is no way my two eldest daughters were ever going to be accepted by my wife to be part of my family,’ he added in part of the statement.
“I cannot and will not compromise on the love and care that my daughters deserve, and this realisation played a significant role in the breakdown of my relationship,” he claimed.
Four months ago, the pair made headlines when US Weekly reported that Cope, 37, filed for divorce following two years of marriage.
The pair had announced their engagement in 2021, which came after his split from his wife of nearly 15 years, Chandie Yawn-Nelson.
Cope and Lawrence, who share a daughter together, married in May 2022.
They originally met on the set of Lifetime’s My Husband’s Secret Brother.
