Chris Brown says he hopes his kids are proud of ‘their little old dad”.
Taking to Instagram this week, the singer shared a message alongside backstage photos from one of his recent concerts, presumably in South Africa.
“Hope my kids are proud of their little old dad,” he captioned the post, prompting an outpouring of love and admiration from fans.
One supporter replied, “Your kids and 94,000+ people are proud of you, sir! Most importantly, you got God beaming…”
Another added, “Chris, that “little old dad” is their HERO & don’t you forget it!! Chris are the most selfless & humble man!! 🙏 We love you so much & are so proud of you so I can’t even imagine how they feel!”
One fan was quick to remind the R&B star of his lasting impact, writing, “As they get older, they will understand the legacy you’re leaving.”
The Grammy-winning artist is a proud father of three: Royalty, 10, with entrepreneur Nia Guzman; Aeko, 5, with ex-girlfriend Ammika Harris; and Lovely, 2, with model Diamond Brown.
Brown’s Instagram post came just after a career highlight: selling out back-to-back shows in Johannesburg, South Africa. Performing to over 90,000 fans each night on December 14 and 15, the R&B legend captivated audiences at the iconic FNB Stadium.
However, the concerts weren’t without controversy. Women’s rights activists attempted to prevent the performances, but Brown’s devoted fanbase rallied in his defense, ensuring the shows went on as planned.
“I’ve been waiting my whole life for this kind of moment,” Brown told the crowd during his performance. “I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, I love you guys so much. This night means a lot to me.”
With a career spanning nearly two decades and a growing legacy, it’s safe to say Chris Brown’s kids—and his fans—have plenty to be proud of.
