In a recent interview with ETalk, Angie Katsanevas made it clear that she’s deeply rooted in the Salt Lake City community. “I am Salt Lake City,” she said. “I own 12 businesses. I’ve been born and raised here. I’m rooted in the community, and the Greek community.” Her strong connection to the city is clear, and she doesn’t shy away from expressing her confidence, even when it comes to her place on the show. “I’m standing in the center, so, who’s the backup dancer now, right?” she boldly stated.

However, despite her assertiveness, Angie opens up about the tensions that have arisen between her and Meredith Marks, particularly in relation to her role on the show. “I felt like she was trying to ice me out, and I didn’t understand that,” Angie explained. The friction seems to have stemmed from Meredith’s apparent discomfort with Angie’s presence on the series. Angie believes Meredith may have had a hard time with her being part of the cast, adding, “She’s not from here. She is renting here when we film, and then she’s gone.”

But even with the distance and underlying tension, Angie says she’s not holding onto any animosity. She still hopes for a peaceful resolution with Meredith. “I want to have peace with Meredith,” she said. “I don’t know how we got here.”

As viewers of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City know, relationships between the women are rarely simple, and it remains to be seen how things will unfold between Angie and Meredith.
