Christmas is a time for family. And when you’ve been dating as long as Tom Holland and Zendaya have, that pretty much counts as family. The two, who met in 2016 when they were cast opposite each other on the MCU film Spider-Man: Homecoming, officially went public with their relationship in 2021 after years of rumors.

Holland, who is perhaps better known for his role as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man in the MCU, has also appeared in the action film Uncharted and the crime dramas The Devil All the Time and Cherry and has voiced roles in animated features like Spies in Disguise and Onward. Holland also recently played Romeo in Jamie Lloyd’s West End revival of Romeo and Juliet.

Zendaya, meanwhile, is both an actress and a singer, who has won two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award. She got her start on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up and then appeared opposite Holland in the Spider-Man films. She became the youngest recipient of the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series thanks to her role as Rue Bennett in the HBO drama Euphoria. She’s also appeared in The Greatest Showman, Malcolm & Marie, Challengers, Dune, and Dune: Part Two, and has released both singles and a studio album.

Together, it’s hard to argue that, although young, they’re one of Hollywood’s power couples—and everyone’s always interested in what they’re doing. That includes their Christmas 2024 plans. So, what are Tom Holland and Zendaya doing for Christmas 2024? Where will they be spending the holidays?

Holland himself discussed the couple’s Christmas plans as he appeared on the Dish podcast with British radio personality Nick Grimshaw and Michelin star chef Angela Hartnett, sharing that he will be spending Christmas at a “secret” location.

“I’m going to be in America this year. I’ll be with my girlfriend’s family, which will be fun,” Holland shared. “Where we will be is a secret to you guys. I know where we’re going,” he added.

The idea, as Holland shared, is to spend time with both families, which is something a lot of couples try to do around the holidays. But they don’t want to alternate holidays, with one year the couple going to one family, and the next year doing the other family. Instead, they have a plan that they haven’t been able to put into practice quite yet.

“I think what we’d like to start doing is, rather than spending it with each family each year, bring the families together,” Holland said. “That’s what I think we want to do next time. This time, because we are both actors, we’re terrible at organizing things, so it hasn’t happened yet, but the thought’s there. The idea has been planted.” And that would include bringing both their dogs—Holland’s new Doberman puppy and Zendaya’s miniature schnauzer Noon. There’s no party without the entire family, and for Holland and Zendaya, that includes their dogs.

And though this has nothing to do with the holidays, the actor also gave a little glimpse at their time together that might inform what their Christmas together might be like by sharing that, “I’m starting to venture into a lot of vegetarian cooking [because] my girlfriend’s vegetarian.” Holland also revealed his favorite vegetarian dish to cook is chili con lentils, a spin on chili con carne. And his favorite vegetarian food to eat? Zendaya’s spicy vodka fusilli. We can imagine that’s something they’ll try to translate to holiday food, as well.
