Malika Haqq and her adorable son Ace made the ultimate duo at the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 premiere in Los Angeles on December 16, 2024.
The event, held at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, was a perfect family night out as the two matched the movie’s theme in complementary shades of blue and black.
Taking to Instagram to share photos from the night, Malika captioned her post, “The perfect date night w/ @aceoflores at the Sonic 3 Movie Premiere. @paramountpics @sonicmovie is in theaters December 20th. Thank you for having us.”
The doting mom and her 3-year-old looked effortlessly stylish as they struck poses and smiled for the cameras.
Ace, who Malika shares with rapper O.T. Genasis, has been quite the little star lately. The toddler recently landed an impressive modeling gig as the newest face of Target, and his proud mom didn’t hold back her excitement.
“So happy I can finally share, Ace is a Target model,” Malika wrote in a previous Instagram post, sharing behind-the-scenes shots from her son’s photoshoot.
“I couldn’t be prouder of my son. HE booked his second audition. @aceflores is pure love and the most deserving of this light. Shine baby!!!” The 41-year-old added.
Malika and Ace’s latest outing comes as Sonic the Hedgehog 3, the highly anticipated action-adventure comedy based on Sega’s hit video game series, gears up for its December 20 release.
Directed by Jeff Fowler, the film stars Ben Schwartz, Jim Carrey, Idris Elba, and Tika Sumpter, while welcoming newcomers Krysten Ritter and Keanu Reeves. The film follows Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles as they team up with Dr. Robotnik to take on their fiercest rival yet, Shadow the Hedgehog.
