The drama on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 is already reaching new heights, and one of the most unexpected and shocking feuds involves Dorit Kemsley and Camille Meyer. While fans were expecting sparks to fly between other familiar faces, the renewed tension between these two women has truly caught everyone off guard.
“Dorit Kemsley has been the target of Camille’s antics for years,” she said, clearly frustrated. “Camille has been coming around year after year after year after year trying to get a rise out of me. And I don’t give it to her. OK, b-tch. Is this what it’s going to take to get you to go away?”
Dorit’s blunt words show just how fed up she is with Camille’s ongoing attempts to stir the pot, even over incidents from years ago that Dorit considers insignificant. She was particularly exasperated by the fact that Camille continues to bring up old grievances, calling them “nothing.”
The drama reached a boiling point at Kyle Richards’ “Denim and Diamonds” party, where Camille once again raised the topic of her personal tragedies. Camille brought up the devastating loss of her assistant and the fire that destroyed her house in 2018—both events that were traumatic and occurred around the same time.
“I didn’t get a lot of compassion or empathy from some … especially Dorit,” Camille shared, clearly hurt by Dorit’s lack of support during such a difficult period.
Dorit’s response? A brutal and unapologetic retort: “I was a total c-nt to her.”
This isn’t the first time Dorit Kemsley has used that exact word to describe Camille. In fact, back in 2017, during another heated argument, Dorit famously called Camille a “stupid c-nt” at a dinner. Fast forward to Season 14, and it seems Dorit has doubled down on her opinion.
“Once upon a time, I regretted calling Camille a c-nt,” Dorit confessed in a confessional. “Now, I feel like Camille’s a stupid f-cking c-nt.”
The other women were visibly shocked by the intensity of the exchange between Dorit and Camille, with many offering their thoughts in interviews and confessionals. Erika Jayne, who has had her own ups and downs with Dorit over the years, came to her defense during the After Show.
“I’m not surprised,” Erika said. “I think this is the worst time in her life. And I remember how ugly I acted and how ugly I was, so I cannot sit here and pretend to be, ‘Oh my god!’ I just am accepting it for what it is.”
While Kyle Richards seemed less sympathetic, arguing that Dorit’s actions couldn’t be excused, Erika took a more understanding approach. “I acted terribly. My life was out of control, including the way I was acting. So when I look at it through my eyes, I’m like, I’m gonna give her grace for this one,” Erika explained.
Dorit on the other hand couldn’t help but say how she really feels about Camille, “You have no business coming in trying to ruffle my feathers over something from eight years ago that was a nothing. It was a nothing. How many apologies, how many this, how many that, how much attention?” she said. “I swear to you, I have said this over and over. I have never met a thirstier human. Dehydrated.”
However, Kyle did not regret inviting Camille to her party, despite Dorit’s objections. “It’s not abnormal for me to invite Camille to an event,” Kyle reasoned. “Listen, I was also having issues with Dorit and there’s other issues going on in the group. If I start saying, ‘I can’t invite this one because this one has a problem,’ I wouldn’t have a party.”
Still, Dorit Kemsley wasn’t pleased with Kyle’s decision. She called it a strategic move that was sure to stir up trouble. “We are trying to mend fences, trying to move forward. You know full well that you bring this woman around and she’s got one purpose and one purpose only. And that is, ‘Oh, there. Dorit.’”
Throughout the After Show, there were mixed reactions from the rest of the women about the use of such harsh language. Garcelle Beauvais and Jennifer Tilly both expressed their discomfort with the word “c-nt,” with Tilly also defending Dorit’s stance on Camille. She remarked that Camille was “gunning for Dorit” during the party, making her actions more understandable in that context.
