In a raw and emotional interview with Carlos King, Drea slammed Black women who frequently say nasty things about her online pertaining to her former marriage to the singer.

“Black women, I hate to say it. Ya’ll are some of the most vicious, venomous spitting. They have come at me the most,” she stated.

Further down the line, with tears streaming down her face, Drea detailed how she tried tirelessly to get JoAnn help as a child.  Drea went to the police and the courts but says authorities told her she was unable to go pick up her daughter after suspecting R. Kelly of doing something inappropriate to JoAnn during a scheduled visitation. However, Drea wasn’t made aware of the extent of the sexual assault until JoAnn was a teenager.

“I did everything that I could just to have the police tell me I could do nothing, and my baby carried that pain around for years,” Drea firmly stated.

Her emotional revelation arrived after JoAnn shared that R. Kelly molested her in a documentary titled “Karma: A Daughter’s Journey.”  From prison, Kelly has denied the allegations.
