Gizelle Bryant is not holding back when it comes to Mia Thornton’s recent comments about her daughters. On the latest episode of Watch What Happens Live (Dec. 8), Bryant made it clear she was deeply upset by Thornton’s decision to share a private moment involving her children during a recent Real Housewives of Potomac episode.
When asked about Thornton’s bombshell, which aired on Dec. 1, Gizelle Bryant responded with an icy demeanor. “We deal with it in a couple more episodes, so I don’t really want to say,” she began, hinting at more details to come in the upcoming episodes. But she didn’t mince words when it came to Thornton’s actions. “Of course, she’s dead to me.”

The controversy began when Bryant questioned Thornton about an Instagram post that referenced the “fathers” of her children. Thornton, whose personal life has been a major storyline this season—particularly her complicated relationship with her estranged husband Gordon and her boyfriend Inc.—was taken aback by the inquiry. The post raised eyebrows among the group, as there was some confusion surrounding the paternity of Thornton’s son, especially given the timing of her relationships.
In a heated exchange, Thornton told Bryant she should have addressed the issue directly with her, rather than airing her grievances in front of everyone. But things escalated quickly when Thornton brought up Bryant’s daughters. “Your girls were sneaking boys in the house in DR. You didn’t want me to bring it to the group,” Thornton revealed. “When we were in the Dominican Republic, her girls were sneaking boys in the back of the house. And she told me. I don’t run and go and tell because that’s your business. But on social media, you post like everything is perfect.”
Thornton’s comments left many fans stunned, especially considering the private nature of the information she shared. Bryant, however, seems far from forgiving, setting the stage for a tense dynamic as the season unfolds.
