Jeff Lewis is responding to Real Housewives of New York star Brynn Whitfield labeling him a pig!
Now, if you’re familiar with Jeff and his SiriusXM show Jeff Lewis Live, you know he’s basically the unofficial commentator of all things Housewife-related. Over the years, countless Housewives have graced his show, dropping bombshells, spilling tea, and letting the messiness spill out, all of which inevitably makes its way back to the shows themselves — creating even more drama.
But recently, Whitfield became part of the drama storm. On a recent Watch What Happens Live appearance, she didn’t hold back when she called Jeff Lewis a “pig.” This came after Jeff had said he wasn’t feeling Brynn explaining, “She acts like an oversexed teenager on the show,” he said. “Desperate for attention, flirting with other people’s spouses, partners, and even parents. I’ve said it before — I don’t like the act. And I’m not alone in thinking this; the audience is turning on her. You can’t argue with that. It’s the truth.”
During a live episode of Jeff Lewis Live, the radio host took the opportunity to respond to Brynn’s “pig” insult.
“I’m not really that affected by it,” Jeff said, his tone cool but pointed. “What I find interesting is if I called someone a pig, there would be a lot more backlash. I don’t think it was a very intelligent response. I mean, I’m an avid Housewivesfan, and I comment on the shows. But I’ve never called her names. She says I have, but where’s the proof?”
Kelly Bensimon, who joined Jeff on the show, agreed, adding, “Show me the receipts, timelines. That’s just to stay relevant, honestly. No shame in that, but Real Housewives of New York was such a fun time in my life. My scenes are like two or three on the all-time list next to the Chicken of the Sea moment. But those girls? Cute, but awful at being Housewives.”
But Jeff wasn’t done. He also reflected on a different moment of drama involving Kathy Hilton, who had come to his defense.
“I really appreciated Kathy saying, ‘I like him,’” Jeff said, acknowledging that Kathy had stood up for him. “But what I found interesting is that someone tried to create discord between Kathy and me. They said, ‘Oh, Jeff talks badly about your sister.’ Kathy was like, ‘Which one?’ And they said, ‘Kyle.’ They even mentioned that I send her orchids. Which, by the way, is not a bad thing. That’s a nice gesture.”
Jeff continued, “Look, Kyle and I are good. I’ve made jokes about her on the show, apologized, and sent flowers. It’s all good. But, for whatever reason, people keep trying to stir up trouble. It’s almost like they want to create drama that doesn’t exist.”
And of course, Jeff Lewis didn’t mince words when it came to his thoughts on the Brynn star who’s become one of his favorite targets for critique. “She [Kathy] acts like an oversexed teenager on the show,” he said. “Desperate for attention, flirting with other people’s spouses, partners, and even parents. I’ve said it before — I don’t like the act. And I’m not alone in thinking this; the audience is turning on her. You can’t argue with that. It’s the truth.”
