Here’s how to have the most Wicked time in Austin!
Magick Matcha | 1516 South Congress Avenue, Austin
Start your day with a little matcha. Not just any matcha but Magick Matcha. And since pink goes good with green, we suggest getting the strawberry matcha. It’s delicious and it will have you feeling like you can defy gravity.
Ruby Tiny House | Community First Village, Austin
Follow the I-35 road to the Ruby tiny home located in the Community First Village. This tiny home makes you feel like you’re staying in Auntie Em and Uncle Henry’s Kansas home. It’s the perfect stay for all Wizard of Oz and Wicked fans. Don’t forget to look for all the movie artifacts around the tiny home. It’s the perfect getaway to read or re-read the Wicked book while you wait for the second movie. And your little dog too – there’s a dog park so you’re dog can join you!
Bonus: The Ruby tiny home is located adjacent to an outdoor Alamo Drafthouse. The house is located directly in front of the amphitheater making it a great place to spend time, eat popcorn and watch a movie.

Lutie’s | 4100 Red River Street, Austin
Lutie’s is located at the Commodore Perry Estate which already looks like something out of a movie. But as you step into Lutie’s, you’re transported to a whole other world. The restaurant was designed by visionary Ken Fulk and after a visit, you’ll be wondering if it’s him or the chefs that are wizards. From family-style shareable plates, to craft cocktails and a rich lush aesthetic, it’s the perfect spot to wish you too were green.
Eberly | 615 South Lamar Boulevard, Austin
Eberly will make you feel like you’re boarding the train on the way to the Emerald City. In addition to the green aesthetic, Eberly serves up some of the most colorful dishes I’ve ever seen. Just check out the photos below (which don’t even do them justice). The restaurant provides a fantastic culinary experience that shouldn’t be missed. We also love the story behind Eberly. It was founded by a group of Austinites as a reminder that Austin is still worth fighting for. They stated that as more people, buildings and ideas populate this city, the battle to preserve Austin’s soul rages on.
Museum of Ice Cream | 11506 Century Oaks Terrace, Austin
Pink and pink and more pink! The Museum of Ice Cream is the most Galinda/ Glinda place we can think of. Plus, who doesn’t love ice cream? Take your friends along and it will help you be popular. Did we mention the ice cream is unlimited?
Taquero Mucho | 508 West Avenue, Austin
Taquero Mucho is always one of our favorite pink places. Everything is deliciously pink but also just plain delicious. You really can’t go wrong with anything off their food or drink menu. They even had Wicked inspired drinks, a green apple margarita for Elphaba and guava mojito for Glinda. We’re not sure if it’s still available but we don’t think you’ll have trouble getting delicious pink or green drinks at Taquero Mucho on any given day. The hot spot has two locations: one located at 508 West Avenue and the other at 11101 Burnet Road. But if you’re planning a totally Wicked day we suggest the one on West.
City Alchemist Witch Shop | 1105 E. 6th Street, Austin
Want to perfect your own Oztastic magic skills, head to City Alchemist where the witches shop. They sell rare occult books, candles and more. Plus, they host classes and special events.
Of course, if you really want to feel like you’re in the Emerald City, you should visit one of Austin’s many Castles. Here’s where you can find all of them in the Central Texas area.

Yellow Brick Road House | Houston, Texas
I’ve got a feeling we’re not in Austin anymore! If you’re a brave scarecrow and are willing to conquer Austin and Houston traffic there’s a yellow door waiting to be opened. What’s at the end of that yellow brick road? An Airbnb, appropriately named, The Yellow Brick Road House. While the inside doesn’t have much movie-related decor the outside is their selling point! They have a literal yellow brick road leading up to a yellow door. This house is centrally located in East Downtown Houston, close to all local attractions. Find more details about the listing here.
