Wicked star Ethan Slater had the perfect response after a recent red carpet mishap.

While attending the latest premiere for the Wicked movie in London, fans captured the moment Slater, who plays Boq in the film, took a tumble.

In fan footage posted to TikTok, the actor, famously dating his co-star Ariana Grande, was walking into The Royal Festival Hall when he slipped.

The short clip captured the exact second Slater fell to the ground and security rushed over to help him, prompting gasps from onlookers.

But it was what he did next that earned him cheers from fans.

After the Broadway star quickly recovered and got back on his feet, he made sure to turn around and throw a thumbs up..

Slater then flashed a smile and waved to onlookers before continuing on inside as if nothing had happened.

The actor joined his Wicked castmates, including girlfriend Ariana Grande, in London for the final stop on the movie’s global press tour.

Slater suited up in black as he posed for group photos with his A-list co-stars Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey, Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh and SNL comedian Bowen Yang.

Earlier this month the actor joined the cast in Australia on the first stop of the press tour.

Speaking to 9honey Celebrity on the red carpet at the Sydney premiere on November 3, Slater opened up about how he “bonded over time” with Grande and his co-stars.

“I do think the theatre kid in all of us was a really helpful bonding thing,” he said.

“I think the best part about it is that not only was everyone really kind and warm and welcoming, everybody’s incredibly talented and so you feel really safe doing scenes with everyone.”

Slater has been making headlines for his romance with pop star Grande, who he has shared some wholesome PDA moments with on the press tour.
