Clearing the air. Channing Tatum‘s ex-wife Jenna Dewan‘s fiancé Steve Kazee is doing damage control. The Magic Mike star is reportedly breaking up with Zoë Kravitz and some people thought that the Once actor was shading his fiancé’s ex.

Channing and Jenna met on the set of Step Up, and married in 208. The two called it quits in 2018 and settled their divorce. Channing opened up about the divorce in an interview with Vanity Fair on January 13, 2023. “We fought for it for a really long time, even though we both sort of knew that we had sort of grown apart. I think we told ourselves a story when we were young [about our opposites-attract romance that started while filming Step Up], and we just kept telling ourselves that story, no matter how blatantly life was telling us that we were so different.”

Steve Kazee posted an Instagram story containing a long string of “HAHA”s. Directly after the post, he posted an Instagram story of a TikTok with the caption: “The houseplant in my kitchen watching me put water in my coffeemaker.”

Many people thought that the “HAHA”s were shading Channing Tatum, but it was not the case for the actor. “A guy can’t laugh about a houseplant Tik Tok in todays world I see … ” Steve Kazee posted nearly 12 hours after the original post. His reps told Us Weekly, “He posted ‘hahaha’ right before the meme tagging Jenna. If we go to the post now it will show the meme about not watering the plants,” the rep told Us.

As for why Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz broke up, the two seem to not see eye to eye over the last couple of months. “They haven’t been on the same page and grew apart,” a source told People. The two called off their engagement after being together for three years. In August, The Blink Twice star posted a tribute to his partner and director. “Thank you for finding me and seeing me.
